Selling wholesale on Jangolo’s Trading B2B: a guide for producers and suppliers

Selling is the reason any business exists. In agriculture it is vital: a harvest or a batch of animals is capital that must be sold quickly to earn a margin. But first you need buyers. That is the role of Jangolo’s Trading B2B (formerly Jangolo Trade, and before that e-sourcing): the place where producers and professional buyers meet to buy and sell wholesale, with no middlemen.

Trading B2B in a nutshell

  • Sale offers: the lots sellers offer (product, quantity, unit price, lot value, city).
  • Purchase requests: what buyers are looking for. When you sell, this is your pool of customers.

Every listing is reviewed by the Jangolo team before publication, then stays online for 30 days. Interested users contact you directly from the listing.

Why sell on Trading B2B?

  • Producers and cooperatives: sell your output without middlemen, answer purchase requests posted by buyers and secure outlets before harvest.
  • Input suppliers: reach producers looking for seeds, fertilisers, animal feed or equipment, anywhere in the country.
  • Processors and agro-industries: sell your finished products in volume to distributors, hotels, restaurants and traders.
  • Wholesalers: turn your stock over by reaching buyers outside your usual network.

Selling in 3 steps

1. Create your account and your company. Register for free on jangolo.cm: every listing is posted on behalf of a company (farm, cooperative, business).

2. Post your sale offer. Click “Publier une annonce” (post a listing), choose “Vendre” (sell), then enter product, quantity, unit, unit price, city and availability date. Everything is detailed with screenshots in our guide: how to post a sale offer or purchase request on Trading B2B.

3. Answer buyers. Once your offer is live, buyers message you, contact you on WhatsApp or make a counter-offer. Also browse the purchase requests tab: if a buyer is looking for what you produce, contact them directly.

5 tips for an offer that attracts buyers

  • Set a fair price: check the indicative price shown in the form and Jangolo Market Prices. On the Trading page, a badge highlights offers below the market price.
  • Be precise in the additional information: variety, quality, moisture, packaging (50 kg bags, crates, heads), pick-up location.
  • Give a real availability date: buyers plan their transport around it.
  • Complete your company profile: a claimed, well-presented company inspires trust.
  • Reply fast: in wholesale trade, the first to answer often closes the deal.

Closing the sale

Today, seller and buyer close the deal directly between themselves. Put product, quantity, quality, price, delivery and payment terms in writing before shipping. For a first deal with a new buyer, start with a smaller lot.

Jangolo is preparing a secure payment service (Escrow) where the buyer’s money will be held before shipping and released to the seller after compliant delivery. Jangolo membership card holders will get priority access.
