Chily Company – à l’origine d’une recette de maman

Au Sud-ouest de la Côte d’Ivoire chez les Kroumen, les familles ont pour coutume d’offrir du piment avec de la noix de cola aux étrangers pour les recevoir. C’est de là que Jacques Henri Sika à eu l’idée  de commercialiser du piment bio aux saveurs multiples. Il crée Chily Compagnie en 2012, une entreprise qui produit du piment en poudre conditionné en boite de 200g.

La structure exploite environ 4 hectares de culture de piment biologiques. Elle fonctionne selon une chaîne de transformation longue et méthodique pour le respect des conditions optimal d’hygiène.

A ses débuts, Chily Compagnie commercialisait 5 boites de piments par mois, avec 2 employés. Aujourd’hui l’entreprise compte presqu’une dixaine d’employés qui collaborent avec 33 réseaux de distribution et qui commercialise en moyenne 650 boites par mois.
